Wirework

Small gold chandelier with crystal accents on a pink wooden background

You’ll find fine wirework in many of our hanging decorations. From delicate ornaments and sculptural branches to playful pieces like the egg holder, these objects are all made by hand in a family-run workshop in North India. Using simple tools and traditional techniques, the wire is bent, soldered and shaped into expressive forms.

This technique gives each piece its light and open look. While they may appear delicate, they’re made to last. The method has something in common with basket weaving, but instead of natural fibres, strong metal wire is used. This results in designs that feel both airy and structured.

Every detail is crafted by hand. The finishes are applied in small batches and left to dry outdoors. Slight differences in shape or colour are part of the process, and they add to the uniqueness of each item.

The family we work with has been refining this craft for years. Alongside their local team, they handle everything from design to finishing. It’s a collaboration built on shared values, craftsmanship and trust.

These wire-formed objects bring a touch of playfulness and movement into the home. They’re easy to combine, full of character and quietly expressive without ever feeling overdone.
